Description

This Crockpot Chicken Reuben Casserole boasts irresistible flavors with tender chicken, tangy sauerkraut, and creamy swiss cheese. Perfect for a quick dinner or a comforting meal, it simply requires minimal prep and cooks effortlessly!


Ingredients

  • 2 lbs. boneless skinless chicken breasts, cubed
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1/4 tsp. ground pepper
  • 1 tsp. garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp. caraway seeds
  • 32 oz. can sauerkraut, drained very well
  • 1 cup thousand island dressing
  • 8 oz. swiss cheese

Instructions

  • Place the cubed chicken in the slow cooker.
  • Sprinkle with salt, pepper, garlic powder, and caraway seeds. Mix well.
  • Layer the drained sauerkraut evenly over the chicken.
  • Spread thousand island dressing on top.
  • Add swiss cheese slices on top evenly.
  • Cook on low for 5 hours or until chicken is cooked through and casserole is bubbling.
  • Serve and enjoy!

Notes

For extra flavor, use homemade thousand island dressing if available.
