Description

Easter Jell-O Cups are a colorful and tasty treat that combines layers of jello and sweetened condensed milk. These cups are not only eye-catching, but their delicious flavors make them a hit at any gathering. They are easy to prepare and perfect for both kids and adults looking to add a fun dessert to their celebrations.

Ingredients

Scale
  • green jello
  • 1 cup boiling water
  • 3.5 ounces sweetened condensed milk
  • 1 cup cold water
  • yellow jello
  • pink jello
  • blue jello
  • whipped topping
  • pastel nonpareils
  • Cadbury mini egg

Instructions

  1. Line up containers on a baking sheet or other flat, moveable surface.
  2. In a medium mixing bowl, add the green jello and 1 cup boiling water. Stir until the jello is dissolved.
  3. Add 3.5 ounces of sweetened condensed milk (¼ of the can) to the bowl and stir until dissolved.
  4. Add 1 cup cold water to the bowl and stir to combine.
  5. Pour 1 ounce of the green jello into each container. Place in the fridge for 1 hour or until set.
  6. Repeat steps 2-5 for the yellow jello, pink jello, and blue jello (in that order). If the jello mixture is too warm, let it cool for 5-10 minutes before layering it on top of the chilled layer, as it could melt it and mix colors.
  7. Once the final layer is set, top with a dollop of whipped topping using a frosting bag and 1M frosting tip, if desired. Sprinkle with pastel nonpareils and top with a Cadbury mini egg. Enjoy!

Notes

Ensure the jello layers are fully set before adding the next layer to prevent mixing of colors.
For a fun variation, use different flavors of jello matching the colors of Easter.
These treats can be made a day in advance for easy preparation before an event.
