Description

Garlic Butter Lamb Chops bring irresistible flavor to the table with simple ingredients and easy prep. Perfect for a quick, flavorful dinner that your family will love!

Ingredients

Scale
  • 6 lamb chops
  • 4 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon fresh rosemary, chopped
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil

Instructions

  1. Divide the Italian herbs into two equal portions.
  2. Season the lamb chops with salt, pepper, and half the fresh herbs on both sides.
  3. In a large skillet over medium-high heat, melt half the butter.
  4. Add the lamb chops to the skillet and cook for 3-4 minutes per side, or until browned and cooked to your desired doneness.
  5. Remove chops from pan and let rest on a wire rack.
  6. As chops rest, add the other half of the butter to the pan and melt.
  7. Add shallot and garlic to the pan and heat until fragrant, about 45 seconds. Stir in the remaining fresh herbs.
  8. Pour wine into the pan to deglaze and stir up the browned bits of lamb.
  9. Bring the sauce to a boil and let it reduce and thicken for about 2 minutes.
  10. Drizzle the sauce over the lamb chops.
  11. Optional: Sprinkle fresh parsley or sprigs of rosemary over the lamb chops before serving.
  12. Serve alongside your favorite side dishes, such as roasted vegetables, mashed potatoes, or a simple salad.

Notes

Let the lamb chops rest after cooking for juicier results.
Feel free to adjust the amount of garlic and herbs based on your taste preference.
Pair with a crisp salad for a fresh contrast to the rich flavors.
