- 2 lbs. boneless skinless chicken breasts
- ½ cup honey
- ½ cup yellow mustard
- 1 ½ tsp. worcestershire sauce
- ¼ cup salted butter, melted
- 2 garlic cloves, minced
- ½ tsp. dried leaf oregano
- ½ tsp. pepper
- ½ tsp. salt
- ½ cup heavy cream, (wait to add until the end)
Instructions
- Add the chicken breasts to the slow cooker.
- In a small bowl, mix honey, mustard, Worcestershire sauce, melted butter, garlic, oregano, salt, and pepper.
- Pour the mixture over the chicken breasts in the slow cooker.
- Cover with the lid and cook on LOW for 6 hours.
- After 6 hours, stir in the heavy cream.
- Shred the chicken using two forks right in the slow cooker, mixing it with the sauce.
- Serve and enjoy.
Notes
For a richer flavor, use organic honey and whole grain mustard.
Adjust the amount of salt and pepper to your taste preference.
