- 1 tsp salt
- 1/2 cup sour cream
- 2 tbsp milk
- 1 tbsp vanilla extract
- 1/2 cup powdered sugar
- 2 tsp milk
- 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
- ground cinnamon
- Pinch of nutmeg
Instructions
- In a medium bowl, mix together flour, light brown sugar, ground cinnamon, and salt, ensuring to break up any clumps.
- In a small bowl, stir together melted butter and vanilla extract, then pour this mixture over the dry ingredients. Toss until crumbly and mixture forms crumbs.
- Cover the bowl and refrigerate for a while to allow the mixture to chill.
Notes
Make sure the apples are peeled and chopped into small pieces for even distribution in the bread.
Chilling the crumb mixture helps in creating a better texture when baked.
