Description

This avocado dressing is not only easy to prepare but also packed with flavor. Made with fresh avocado, tangy lemon, and aromatic garlic, it’s the perfect topping for salads or a delicious dip. Enjoy a healthy option that your taste buds will love!


Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 ripe avocado
  • 1/4 cup white wine vinegar
  • 1 lemon – juice only
  • 1 garlic clove
  • 3/4 cup avocado oil
  • 2 tbsp agave nectar
  • 2 tbsp cilantro (or basil, or parsley)
  • coarse kosher salt to taste

Instructions

  1. Prepare your blender or food processor with an opening on top for adding ingredients.
  2. Cut the avocado in half, remove the pit, and scoop the flesh into the blender or food processor.
  3. Add the white wine vinegar, lemon juice, agave nectar, garlic clove, cilantro, and salt into the blender. Do not add the oil yet!
  4. Close the lid and start blending, slowly drizzling in the avocado oil while blending until incorporated. Blend for a few more seconds after adding all the oil.
  5. Check the dressing's consistency and taste; for a thinner dressing, add an extra 1/4 cup of avocado oil and blend.

Notes

Using fresh herbs like cilantro or basil gives a vibrant flavor to the dressing.
Make sure to taste and adjust salt to your preference before serving.
For a creamier texture, add a bit more avocado oil.
