Description
This BBQ Chicken Marinade is a delight for anyone seeking bold flavors with simple prep. Made with BBQ sauce, Italian dressing, and garlic, it’s perfect for quick dinners or summer grilling.
Ingredients
Scale
- 2 lbs chicken breast, boneless, skinless
- 1/2 cup bbq sauce
- 1/4 cup italian dressing
- 2 tbsp apple cider vinegar
- 3 cloves garlic, pressed
Instructions
- In a bowl, whisk together the BBQ sauce, Italian dressing, apple cider vinegar, and pressed garlic to create the marinade.
- Poke the chicken breasts all over with a fork, then place them in a dish or zip-top bag and pour the marinade over the chicken, ensuring it's fully covered. Refrigerate for at least 30 minutes, or up to 4 hours.
- Preheat the grill to medium heat and brush it with oil to prevent sticking. Cook the chicken on the grill for 4-6 minutes per side, depending on thickness, until the internal temperature reaches 165˚F.
- Once cooked, remove the chicken from the grill and let it rest for 5 minutes before serving warm.
Notes
Marinate for at least 30 minutes for better flavor. (Up to 4 hours is ideal!)
Use a meat thermometer to check the internal temperature for doneness.
Serve with grilled vegetables or a salad for a complete meal.
