Description

These Caramel Rice Krispie Treats are a delicious blend of sweet caramel and marshmallows, creating a delightful treat that’s easy to prepare. Perfect for sharing or enjoying at home!


Ingredients

  • 1 (11 oz) bag Kraft Caramels, Unwrapped
  • 1 cup Butter
  • 7 1/2 cups Mini Marshmallows
  • 7 cups Rice Krispies Cereal

Instructions

  1. Spray a 9 x 13 pan with non-stick spray and set aside.
  2. Unwrap the caramels and set aside 10 of them.
  3. Melt the remaining caramels in the microwave, stirring every 30 seconds until smooth.
  4. Melt the butter in a large pot over medium heat, then remove from heat once melted.
  5. Stir in the melted caramel and 5 1/2 cups of mini marshmallows until almost combined.
  6. Mix in the Rice Krispies, then fold in the remaining 2 cups of mini marshmallows until well mixed.
  7. Gently press the mixture evenly into the prepared pan.
  8. Melt the remaining 10 caramels in the microwave, stirring every 30 seconds until smooth.
  9. Drizzle the melted caramel all over the top of the treats.
  10. Allow to cool and then cut into squares.

Notes

Ensure the butter is melted thoroughly to combine well with the other ingredients.
For a fun twist, consider adding chocolate chips or nuts to the mixture before pressing it into the pan.
Store any leftovers in an airtight container to maintain freshness.
