Description

This Chipotle Ranch combines tangy mayonnaise and sour cream with smoky chipotle peppers, offering a bold flavor. This homemade dressing is perfect for quick meals or as a dip!

Ingredients

Scale
  • ½ cup mayonnaise
  • ½ cup sour cream
  • 2 chipotle peppers in adobo sauce
  • ¾ teaspoon dried dill weed
  • ½ teaspoon dried parsley
  • ½ teaspoon dried chives
  • ½ teaspoon garlic powder
  • ¼ teaspoon onion powder
  • ¼ teaspoon kosher salt
  • ¼ teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
  • ½ teaspoon white sugar
  • 12 teaspoons fresh lime juice
  • ¼½ cup milk (adjust for desired thickness)

Instructions

  1. In a food processor, combine mayonnaise, sour cream, chipotle peppers, dill, parsley, chives, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, pepper, and sugar. Blend until smooth.
  2. Add milk and lime juice to adjust thickness; for a pourable dressing, add more milk, and for a thicker dip, use less. Blend again to combine. Taste the dressing and adjust seasonings if desired.
  3. Pour into a jar and chill in the refrigerator until serving. This dressing keeps well in the refrigerator for up to a week.

Notes

Feel free to adjust the amount of chipotle peppers for heat preference.
This dressing can double as a dip for veggies or chips.
Store in a sealed container for freshness.
