Description

This Frozen Berry Margarita bursts with flavor from mixed berries, tequila, and a hint of lime. Perfect for a summer gathering, this easy drink delights with its fruity kick and simple preparation.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 ½ cups frozen mixed berries
  • 4 oz silver tequila or white tequila
  • 4 oz triple sec
  • juice of ½ lime plus more for rimming the glass
  • ¼ maple syrup; you can also use honey if you don't have maple syrup
  • ½ cup crushed ice
  • sugar for the rim
  • ¼ cup club soda; more if needed
  • lime wheels and mint for garnish

Instructions

  1. Rub a lime wedge around the edge of your glass and dip it into sugar to rim it. Set aside.
  2. In a blender, combine frozen mixed berries, tequila, triple sec, lime juice, and sugar. Blend until smooth.
  3. Taste the mixture and adjust sweetness by adding more sugar if desired. If too thick, add a splash of club soda.
  4. Pour the mixture into the rimmed glass, top with club soda if desired, and garnish with lime wheels and mint leaves.

Notes

For a sweeter margarita, increase the amount of maple syrup or sugar to taste.
Feel free to experiment with different berries based on availability.
For a non-alcoholic version, replace tequila and triple sec with fruit juice and additional club soda.
