- 1 tablespoon arrowroot flour
- 1 cup rolled oats
- 1/2 cup almond flour
- 1/4 cup peanut butter flour
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 4 tablespoons butter
- 2 tablespoons maple syrup
- 1 teaspoon vanilla bean paste
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 375°F and grease a baking dish.
- In the prepared pan, add mixed berries and sprinkle with arrowroot flour. Gently stir to coat the berries evenly.
- In a bowl, combine rolled oats, almond flour, peanut butter flour, and salt. Mix well.
- Add the cubed butter to the dry ingredients and mix until well incorporated. Using your hands works best.
- In a separate small bowl, mix maple syrup and vanilla bean paste, then add to the butter-oat mixture and combine for a sticky texture.
- Crumble the topping over the berry mixture, covering most of the fruit.
- Bake for 30 minutes until the topping is golden brown and the fruit is bubbling.
- Allow to cool slightly before serving, and enjoy it with vanilla ice cream or whipped cream.
