Description

This Orange Creamsicle Pie offers a delightful mix of flavors with orange jello, yogurt, and mandarin oranges, making it a perfect choice for easy homemade dessert lovers.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 graham cracker crust
  • 15 ounces mandarin oranges, 1 can drained, juice reserved
  • 3.4 ounces orange jello mix
  • 12 ounces orange creamsicle yogurt, 2 containers
  • 8 ounces whipped cream, plus more for topping (optional)

Instructions

  1. Combine the orange gelatin with 1/4 cup of the reserved mandarin orange juice in a large glass bowl and microwave on high for 1 minute.
  2. Refrigerate the thickened gelatin mixture for 10-15 minutes.
  3. Whisk in the orange yogurt and Cool Whip, then carefully fold in 1/2 cup of chopped mandarin oranges.
  4. Pour the mixture into the graham cracker crust and add dollops of whipped cream and whole mandarin oranges on top.
  5. Refrigerate the pie for about 4 hours to set, or freeze for 2 hours for a frozen treat.

Notes

For a creamier texture, ensure the yogurt is well-blended into the gelatin mix.
Using fresh mandarin oranges can enhance the flavor of the pie.
Let the pie sit overnight in the fridge for an even firmer set.
