- 6 oz red gelatin (170g)
- 6 oz blue gelatin (170g)
- boiling water (as per gelatin box instructions)
- cold water (as per gelatin box instructions)
- 12 fl. oz heavy whipping cream (350ml)
- 5 fl. oz sweetened condensed milk (150ml)
- whipped cream (for topping)
- Red, white, and blue sprinkles (for decoration)
Instructions
- Follow the directions provided on the back of both gelatin boxes.
- Prepare the red and blue gelatin flavors and pour them into an 8×8 (20cmx20cm) dish.
- Refrigerate for about 4 hours or until fully set. Use the Quickset method if you prefer.
- Cut the set gelatin into squares using a utility knife, creating horizontal and vertical cuts.
- Carefully remove the squares to avoid breaking. Use a teaspoon or spatula if necessary.
- Take small cups that hold 8oz (237ml) or less for serving. Place alternating squares of gelatin at the bottom, pressing against the cup's wall.
- Pour about 1.5 tablespoons of cream over the gelatin and continue layering until the cup is filled.
- Finish off by decorating with whipped cream and colorful sprinkles.
